What’s been happening:

After 30+ years in journalism, primarily as an editor with The Associated Press, The New York Times, and The Oregonian, I've left the lushness of the east coast for the high desert of Santa Fe NM--where I run my own landscape company, Swoon Garden Design. My partner of 20 years, Paula Corey, and I love the big sky and surrounding mountains. When I'm not planting trees and xeric courtyard gardens, we hike, fly-fish, go camping, and play with our three dogs.
